Welcome to the Information Network of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. The Agency has been set up by the European Union in order to serve the information needs of people with an interest in occupational safety and health.

The Agency is managed by a Board with Government, Employer and Worker representatives from all EU Member States as well as representatives from the European Commission.

Located in Bilbao (Spain) the Agency has co-ordinated a network since 1997 with Focal Points in each Member State of the Union. The Agency co-operates also with many International Organisations and with safety and health administrations and interested parties world-wide.

This navigation system allows you to access an ever-growing safety and health information resource via 10 key Information buttons or via a search function.

As the Agency’s network is based on a common structure, you will be able to access the information available within a key area, e.g. legislation, directly via the country/institution navigation buttons.

Language buttons indicate in which language(s) the information is available.

You can also access – FAQ – frequently asked questions, a sitemap and a help function as well as an index system.

As the Agency’s information network aims to serve the needs of its users, we are very interested in comments that can further help improve the site.

La EU-OSHA participa en el Día mundial sin tabaco con el lanzamiento de su campaña de sensibilización “Lugares de trabajo sin humo”, con la que hace un llamamiento a empresarios y trabajadores para eliminar el humo de tabaco ambiental en los lugares de trabajo de toda Europa. Es una iniciativa de apoyo a la campaña paneuropea “Los ex fumadores no abandonan”, promovida por la Dirección General de Sanidad y Protección al Consumidor, de la Comisión Europea.
